Spa310 carries a range of chemical peels from light to medium depth treatments. Your provider will choose the optimal treatment for your goals, lifestyle, and skin type.

Depending on your skin concerns, your provider will select the appropriate peel for your desired results. Conditions we are able to treat include the following:
Dull, dehydrated skin
Fine Lines and Aging
Mild facial laxity
Acne and Acne Scarring
Hyperpigmentation
Melasma
Uneven skin texture

Number of sessions required varies greatly on your skin’s health, home care, and desired results. Upon consultation, your provider will give an estimate of how many sessions may be needed.
What to expect at your Chemical Peel Treatment:

Before your Chemical Peel Treatment:
1 week Pre-Treatment
Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A), Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Salicylic Acid, or other anti-aging, acne and bleaching products.
Also, AVOID waxing, bleaching, tweezing or the use of hair removal cream on the area to be treated.
Use SPF 30+ daily

Provider will cleanse and analyze your skin, going over your treatment goals, and choosing the appropriate formula
Peel will be applied in layered passes until provider observes optimal endpoints
Daytime appointments: Provider will apply a barrier strengthening hydrator and SPF
Nighttime appointments: Provider will apply a barrier strengthening hydrator

Avoid wetting the treatment area for at least 4 hours post treatment to avoid any discomfort
Wear SPF 30+ every day post peel
Avoid exercise or strenuous activities (except for light walking) for the first 24 to 48 hours following treatment.
Avoid any hot saunas, hot exercise classes, and sweating for the first 24-28 hours following treatment.
If receiving the peel in the AM: you should leave the peel on all day. Wash your face with a mild cleanser that night.
If receiving the peel in the PM: you should leave the peel on overnight. Wash it off the following morning, using only your hands (no washcloth, loofah, brush, etc.).
If any flaking or peeling occurs post treatment, do NOT pick or pull that the shedding skin. This can cause uncontrolled inflammation in the skin. If needed, you may trim off any shedded skin with a disinfected pair of nail scissors.

Normal post-treatment responses include, but are not limited to the following:
Mild to moderate flaking or peeling of the treatment area
Redness or swelling
A tingling or sensation of warmth in the skin
A tight or dry feeling
Discolorations may appear darker during the peel process
Chemical peels can have varying degrees of downtime. Superficial, or light peels can have little to no downtime, where our medium depth peels can have 5-7 days of downtime. Your provider will select the appropriate strength of peel depending on your desires and lifestyle.
