Spa310 uses the Quanta Q plus C, the most advanced laser tattoo removal technology available. By incorporating 3 wavelengths into one system we are able to effectively treat all ink colors. State of the art Optibeam Technology ensures that laser energy is evenly distributed throughout the entire treatment area.
How does laser tattoo removal work?
Skin is composed of two layers; the protective layer called the epidermis, and the deeper dermis layer. Tattoos retain their permanence because the ink is deposited directly into the dense inner dermis layer.
During laser tattoo removal pulses of light energy pass harmlessly through the epidermis that shatter ink particles located in the dermis layer.
Can all the colors in my tattoo be removed?
Spa310’s Quanta Q plus C laser is designed to safely remove all tattoo ink colors by using three specific wavelengths that target the different colors of ink.
- Nd:Yag laser 1064mn wavelength: is used to treat dark pigmented ink such as black and dark blue
- Ruby laser 694nm wavelength: is used to treat green and blue ink
NOTE: these colors are not adequately removed by other laser systems.
- Nd;Yag laser 532nm wavelength: is used to treat red and orange inks
Once broken down, these ink fragments are naturally dispelled from the body by the lymphatic system.
Will I see changes in my tattoo immediately?
Because every tattoo and person is unique, some people may notice a change with every treatment, while others may not change for a few treatments.
Does laser tattoo removal hurt?
Pain tolerance is personal and different for each individual. Laser tattoo removal is uncomfortable, but tolerable. The treatments almost feel like electronic tattooing. Unfortunately you will not be able to use numbing cream as it will interfere with the lasers effectiveness. We do, however, have a Zimmer Chiller that reduces risk of heat damage and pain by effectively numbing.
Can I just remove part of my tattoo?
Yes, our laser is very precise so you can have your tattoo look exactly the way you want it to.
Can I have my permanent make up removed?
No, because there is a high risk of adverse effect that could occur with the ink commonly used for permanent makeup, we do not remove permanent makeup.
How much time will be between my treatments?
The time between treatments will vary around 4 and 8 weeks because each tattoo and person is unique
Are there limitations after tattoo removal treatments?
Following your treatment, the area being treated should not be exposed to UV/sun light during the course of your treatments and eight weeks after. A broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen should be applied whenever exposed to the sun. The treated area must remain dry and covered with a non-adhering dressing for at least 3 hours.
