Morgan Dettmer

Salon Apprentice

Morgan joined Spa310’s team as a receptionist in the Fall of 2010. She developed an interest for hair while watching the stylists daily. After a few months at the front desk, she was offered an apprenticeship at the salon.
While in the salon, she observes and learns from the stylists, allowing her to see each stylist’s personal technique. This gives Morgan a chance to develop her own personal style while learning from a very experienced team.

Since starting her apprenticeship, Morgan has been educated in up-dos, cutting, and color. She had the chance to work behind the scenes at the VCU Strut Fashion Show and has assisted with wedding hair. She has attended a cutting and color class by Davines.

Morgan is looking forward to becoming a licensed cosmetologist, and is currently furthering her education at the Richmond Technical Center.
