As a second generation stylist, Maya has been exposed to all facets of the beauty industry. Working first as a salon coordinator, she was trained intensely in customer service.
After completing her apprenticeship, Maya worked with a leading industry distributor, gaining exposure to the inner workings of numerous top product lines. Work with a total of eleven different color lines, including Aveda, Matrix and Framesi, makes her an expert in the nuances of color correction. Several advanced cutting classes and years behind the chair have helped her to develop a freehand cutting style that makes each haircut unique.
Maya’s clients are most important and she uses the consultation to full advantage, always carefully considering each individuals personality and lifestyle before making the first cut. She believes in letting your hair do what it wants, to achieve beautiful, low maintenance styles that can easily be recreated at home. Maya is at home behind the chair and she will quickly make you feel at home too
